Jennifer Asen is a highly experienced and knowledgeable texture specialist & coach with 25 plus years of experience in the hair industry. As the owner of Jennifer Naturals salon, she has built a reputation as an authority on textured hair, offering a range of services from shaping afros to coloring locs, crochet braids or perfecting the 2-week blowout.
Jennifer is also a problem solver, and her passion for finding practical solutions has led her to create organic hair oils to protect textured hair in cold climates. Additionally, she has developed the 6 Pillars of Happy Textured Hair, an easy-to-follow hair care guide for consumers and professionals.
As an educator, Jennifer has worked with various institutions, including Sir George Ross Secondary School, Fanshawe College, and TVDSB, sharing her knowledge and expertise on textured hair. Her training courses focus on real-world experiences, creating a safe space for students to share practical solutions that support textured clients while improving their bottom line.
Overall, Jennifer's goal is to give her students the confidence to work with textured hair and create a lasting knowledge base to conquer future issues.
