Yes Coconut oil, my favorite cooking oil, helps digestion when mixed in a shake, main ingredient for natural soap making and excellent for oil pulling. But, NOT recommend on your hair unless blended with other moisturizing oils and here's why;
Coconut oil has small molecules so it penetrates the hair shaft well but sits in the small openings of textured hair and prevents the penetration of other beneficial hydrating products. Coconut oil tends to "seal the hair" which is fine in warm moist climates but not in cold dry climates. Coconut oil should be "mixed" with other oils to help balance it out. Used alone on hair that needs moisture, coconut oil can make a very real problem worse. It can completely stagnate your efforts to build moisture in your hair. It can interfere with the penetration of other hair products and cause build up, especially if you use waxy conditioners and leave-ins.
At Jennifer Naturals we use Hair Love - Conditioning Oil. It has the perfect balance of nourishing, hydrating and sealing oils and it can be used daily without build up.

"I meant to put this up right after my last fabulous cut but it's now already time to go back for my next one. I just cannot say enough good things about Jennifer Naturals! I am so impressed with how confidently she handles curly hair after years of hit and miss stylists.
